Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use stackhousesystems.com, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and we treat that as a standard to keep meeting, not a box to tick once.
What we have done
- Every page has a single, descriptive heading and a logical heading order.
- The whole site works from the keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a skip link on every page.
- Text and background colors meet the contrast ratios in WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Images have text alternatives; decorative artwork, including Steve, is hidden from screen readers.
- Animation respects your system's reduced-motion setting: the intro, the pillars, and Steve all calm down or stop when you ask them to.
- Form fields have real labels, and the quote form works without JavaScript.
- Text can be resized to 200 percent without losing content or function.
Where we are still working
The animated intro on the home page is short and can be skipped with a click or a tap, and it does not play at all under reduced motion. If it gets in your way for any other reason, tell us and we will fix it.
Tell us
If anything on this site is hard to use, email info@stackhousesystems.com or call (813) 803-0143. Say which page and what happened, and we will fix it promptly and get back to you.
